Fosun forced to look at partial Ironshore sale
Chinese conglomerate Fosun is exploring a partial sale of recently
acquired Ironshore as it looks to ease ratings agency pressure on
the specialty insurer, The Insurance
Insider can reveal.
Sources told this publication investment bank Citi has been
approaching potential acquirers about a partial divestiture of the
business, which Fosun bought in two stages for a combined
$2.3bn.
