Former MMC vice chair Bob Newhouse dies

Robert "Bob" J Newhouse Jr, the former vice chairman of
Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC), has died following a brief
illness.
Newhouse began his career in the insurance industry in 1954 and
spent much of his working life with MMC, serving as a senior
executive for Guy Carpenter and retiring as vice chairman of MMC in
1990.
