Floridian insurers assume 81,500 Citizens policies

Heritage, Anchor P&C Insurance and Southern Oak can seek to
assume a combined 81,500 personal and commercial insurance policies
from state-backed carrier Citizens Property Insurance after
receiving approval from the Floridian regulator.
Heritage, part of HCI Group, may assume up to 55,000 personal
residential policies, of which 35,000 are from the personal lines
account. The remaining 20,000 are from Citizens' coastal
property account.
