FCA big data probe finds customers could be short-changed

The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned that
insurers' use of big data could leave some customers unable to
obtain affordable insurance.
Following a review into how retail general insurance firms were
using data, the FCA found that there were concerns from
stakeholders around data protection rules and the use of data, with
the potential for an increase in risk segmentation.
