Distribution costs too high: Long

The cost of distribution is too high and with increased
transparency, intermediaries should start to interrogate their
charging structure, Liberty Mutual CEO David Long has argued.
Speaking at the Standard & Poor's Insurance Conference
in New York today (15 June), the executive said there had to be a
lot more attention paid to expenses in the system and distribution
costs.
