Collective governance can trigger herd mentality: McPeak

Regulatory independence is essential in countering a herd mentality
that arises from governance that is not tailored, according to vice
president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners,
Julie Mix McPeak.
Speaking at the International Insurance Conference hosted by
Insurance Europe in Dublin this afternoon (25 May), McPeak
highlighted the importance of consistency in regulation
globally.
