CIRC approves insurer Xinjiang Qianhai

The China Insurance Regulatory Commission has issued an
insurance licence to property insurer Xinjiang Qianhai United
Property Insurance Company, it announced this week.
The carrier will initially operate in the western region of
Xinjiang and the southern province of Guangdong, including
Shenzhen.
A statement from the regulator said the company's management
had the option to expand its presence beyond these areas after two
years.
The insurer's operations cover a range of classes, including
motor
