Buurman to join Bathia at Probitas

Neila Buurman director of international casualty, Middle East &
Canada, at QBE Insurance Europe, has handed in her notice at the
company, The Insurance Insider can
reveal.
The executive, who has spent the last 15 years working at the
successful London-based QBE casualty business unit that
incorporates Syndicate 386 at Lloyd's, is understood to be
heading to the Lloyd's start-up Probitas Syndicate 1492. It is
thought Buurman has a six-month notice period.
