Barbican launches Bermuda platform

Barbican today confirmed the launch of an underwriting operation
in Bermuda, as first revealed by The Insurance
Insider.
Barbican Bermuda will initially underwrite a property direct and
facultative (D&F) portfolio of business on an excess and
surplus lines basis, spanning both commercial and industrial
risks.
Focusing on Fortune 1000 corporations as well as middle-market
organisations, the platform will write US-domiciled risks and will
include nationwide, regional and single state or locati
