Australia's political parties pressed on disaster mitigation funds

The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has called on the
country's main political parties to commit to increasing
federal funding for natural disaster resilience ahead of next
month's election.
The call came after Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and
opposition leader Bill Shorten visited Tasmania last week, which
was battered recently by severe storms.
