Arch promotes Grandisson to COO

Arch Capital Group has appointed Marc Grandisson to the position of
president and chief operating officer, effective 1 January, the
company announced today (11 November).
Grandisson, who is currently chairman and CEO of the Arch
Worldwide reinsurance and mortgage groups, will continue to report
to Dinos Iordanou, chairman of the board and Arch CEO. He will have
responsibility for all of the company's operating units
comprising insurance, reinsurance and mortgages.
