AmTrust announces $383mn capital raise

AmTrust announced a capital raise of 5 million common shares after
markets closed in New York yesterday (10 November).
The company has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to
purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares.
Overall, this will equate to a gross raise of around $383mn,
according to FBR analyst Randy Binner.
"We intend to use a portion of the net proceeds from this
offering to finance our previously announced Nationale Borg and
