AM Best places OneBeacon under review with positive implications

Ratings agency AM Best has placed OneBeacon's financial
strength rating of A under review with positive implications
following the carrier's acquisition by Intact Financial.
In an update after the deal was announced on Tuesday (2 May), AM
Best said the positive implications reflected the "potential
financial and operational benefits" of Intact's higher
credit and issuer ratings.
