Airmic welcomes Pool Re deal

UK risk managers' association Airmic has welcomed UK
state-guaranteed mutual terrorism insurer Pool Re's decision to
implement far-reaching changes in the way it operates.
The trade body said it believed the reforms would make Pool Re
more attractive to business, as well as diversifying its risk
base.
Pool Re members voted unanimously in favour of proposed
modernising amendments to the UK terrorism insurer at an
extraordinary general meeting held last Friday (21 November).
