AIR gives $20bn to $40bn Irma loss estimate
AIR Worldwide has estimated insured losses in the US resulting
from Hurricane Irma will range between $20bn and $40bn.
On Friday (8 September), the modeller said Irma could inflict
insured losses of $20bn-$65bn.
Today's estimate is based on the National Hurricane
Center's forecast for the hurricane at 17:00 Eastern Time on
Sunday.
