AFA puts French flood loss at up to $1.6bn
The French Insurance Association (AFA) has estimated that the
final insured loss amount from the recent floods in France will be
between EUR900mn and EUR1.4bn ($1.02bn and $1.6bn).
In a statement published yesterday (7 June) the trade body said
there had been 77,000 claims so far and that the final number could
reach 150,000.
