Confluent draws $250 million in Series E funding

Clearly the coronavirus scare has not deterred Confluent's venture backers into further priming the pump. Confluent plans to devote much of the new investment to Project Metamorphosis, an initiative to expand its Kafka platform into a hybrid cloud-native event streaming platform.
