Zac Goldsmith Denies Racist Campaign Claim

London mayoral candidate Zac Goldsmith has denied running a racist campaign calling the claims "absurd and irresponsible". The Conservative candidate insisted that he had run a "positive campaign" but did admit he had raised concerns over his Labour opponent Sadiq Khan "giving a platform" to people with "extremist views". It comes after the Labour MP Yvette Cooper lambasted Mr Goldsmith in a comment on the Red Box website, saying his "subtle dog-whistle is becoming a full-blown racist scream".
