Vote Leave Designated Official Anti-EU Campaign

Vote Leave has been designated as the lead campaign for the UK to leave the European Union in the upcoming referendum. The Electoral Commission said the group, backed by senior Conservative eurosceptics including Michael Gove and Boris Johnson, had demonstrated it had the structures in place to represent the views of out supporters from other campaigns. Vote Leave will be allowed to spend up to £7m on campaigning in the run-up to the 23 June referendum.
