Two rescued after avalanche on mountain near Glencoe
Two climbers have been rescued after surviving an avalanche on a Scottish mountain.The pair had been climbing Boomerang Gully on the 3,658ft-high (1,115m) Stob Coire nan Lochan, near Glencoe, when they went missing on Friday.A search was launched that evening but, despite the efforts of the coastguard and mountain rescue teams from Glencoe and Lochaber, there was no sign of them.
