TV Cameras To Be Allowed In Crown Courts

TV cameras are set to be allowed in Crown Courts for the first time under a new scheme which could take the UK a step closer to televising cases. Under the pilot scheme, which is expected to start within weeks, sentencing remarks made by senior judges will be filmed. As it stands, Crown Courts are open to the public but filming is strictly prohibited.
