Top Judges Reviewing Ched Evans Rape Case

Top judges are reviewing the case of footballer Ched Evans who was convicted and jailed in 2012 for raping a 19-year-old woman. Lady Justice Hallett, Mr Justice Flaux and Sir David Maddison are considering the safety of his conviction at a Court of Appeal hearing in London. The referral follows a 10-month investigation by the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) which investigates possible miscarriages of justice.
