Tony Blackburn: BBC said I could resign then return in a few months

Sacked BBC DJ Tony Blackburn has claimed he was given the opportunity to resign from the corporation and return to his job in a "few months" after the Dame Janet Smith inquiry into sexual abuse at the corporation.
