Thunderstorm warning in place as England braces for more bad weather

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for large parts of England, ending a brief interlude of sunny weather.Much of the South East, East Anglia and parts of the Midlands are covered under the warning, which has been issued from Tuesday through to Wednesday evening.It prompted a multi-agency response, including RAF helicopters dropping sandbags and the Environment Agency assembling pumps to redirect flood waters.
