Thousands Attend Funerals Of Five Camber Sands Victims

Around 3,000 people have attended a joint funeral for the five young men who drowned at Camber Sands last month. There were emotional scenes at Plumstead Common in southeast London as the tight knit Tamil community paid its respects at a traditional Hindu service. Nitharshan Ravi, 22, Kobi Saththiyanathan, 22 and his 18-year-old brother Kenugen, Kurushanth Srithavarajah, 28, and Inthushan Sriskantharasa, 23, all drowned on the East Sussex coast on 24 August.
