Tata Board Still Considering UK Steel Bids

The board of Indian steel giant Tata is still considering a number of bids for its business employing thousands of workers in the UK. The company spoke up following a meeting in Mumbai today. Its executive director Koushik Chatterjee told reporters that while it had identified short-listed bidders, they still needed to be evaluated and he would not be drawn on the identities of the interested parties.
