Sumgong Wins Marathon Despite Heavy Fall

Kenya's Jemima Sumgong has won her first London Marathon despite banging her head in a heavy fall in the latter stages of the race. Her victory was all the sweeter as her countryman Eliud Kipchoge won the men's race, making it a double for Kenya. In the men's wheelchair race, six-time winner David Weir came a disappointing third, losing out to Swiss Marcel Hug.
