Suicide prevention minister joked about throwing herself off Beachy Head

The government's new suicide prevention minister once said she would "sooner jump off Beachy Head" than defect from the Conservatives, it has been revealed.Jackie Doyle-Price told the Thurrock Gazette in 2014: "I would sooner jump off Beachy Head than join UKIP.Beachy Head in East Sussex is a notorious suicide spot, with around 20 people each year killing themselves by throwing themselves from the chalk cliffs.
