Stranded 50ft Whale Dies On Norfolk Beach

A sperm whale has died after beaching in Norfolk - and there are fears at least two more could become stranded. The 50ft young adult male was part of a group of six spotted in the Wash at Hunstanton on Friday. Rescue divers were joined by staff from RNLI, HM Coastguard and Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary - but their attempts to push the whale back into deeper waters were unsuccessful.
