Storm Desmond: 'Danger To Life' Warning

Severe flood warnings, which warn of a danger to life, have been issued by the Environment Agency for Appleby and Keswick in Cumbria and and Corbridge in Northumbria. The Met Office said "in excess of 150 to 200mm" of rain could fall on Cumbria as Storm Desmond swept in. Sixty-nine flood warnings for elsewhere in the north of England have also been issued by the Environment Agency .
