Stopping boy's treatment with medicinal cannabis 'could kill him'
A 12-year-old boy, given a UK-first prescription last year for medicinal cannabis oil which has helped with his epilepsy, may not be able to get another prescription in this country.Billy Caldwell, from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland, has intractable epilepsy, a condition that causes him to have seizures that cannot be treated.Billy's doctor Brendan O'Hare has been told not to repeat the medication and the current supply is due to run in just over two weeks' time.
