Staff work around clock to keep hospitals going after cyber attack
Within the NHS trusts hit hardest by the cyber attack they have summoned up energy and expertise to get through a unique weekend.Whether or not their computers were on the right operating systems, and whether their cyber security was lax, staff had to improvise to keep their patients safe.At the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, over 5,000 pieces of diagnostic equipment that are linked into the IT systems were having to be individually analysed and tested.
