SNP To Oppose Hunting Change In England
The Prime Minister's plan to relax rules on fox hunting in England and Wales has fallen into disarray after it emerged that the Scottish National Party will vote against the proposals. Calculations suggested the measure - which does not affect Scotland - could get through on Wednesday if the SNP abstained. But at a meeting of the SNP's Westminster MPs, attended by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, the party decided to vote against the proposals.
