Slowing Housing Market Could Take Off Again

House price growth across the UK has faltered for July to its weakest level in three years, reflecting uncertainty in the market after the Brexit vote. A survey by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) showed house sales continued to fall in the three months to the end of July, whilst the number of new instructions and buyer enquiries also dropped. Just 5% of those surveyed reported a rise in house prices for last month, the lowest reading since 2013.
