Slim Chance For Stranded Whale On High Tide
The whale stranded at Hunstanton beach has been engulfed by the tide but rescuers say there is only a slim chance the 14m mammal could be refloated. Sealife experts had been trying to help the sperm whale on the Norfolk coast by splashing it with buckets of water to ease its discomfort. Hunstanton Sea Life Centre manager Nigel Croasdale told Sky News he was "not expecting a successful outcome" but said there was an outside chance of saving the whale.
