Sky Poll: 63% Support England Sports Anthem

A Sky Data Snap poll has revealed that 63% of people surveyed support England having its own national sporting anthem. The top choice was Land Of Hope And Glory (40%), followed closely by Jerusalem (31%), There’ll Always Be An England (18%) and I Vow To Thee My Country (11%). It comes as a senior Labour MP launched a bid in Parliament for an English national anthem to be sung at major sporting events instead of God Save The Queen.
