Sinn Fein: British and Irish PMs should be involved in talks

Sinn Fein has called on the British and Irish prime ministers to become directly involved in effort to resolve Northern Ireland's political crisis.Downing Street said after the Thursday afternoon deadline expired that talks would be allowed to continue until Monday.As talks resumed, Sinn Fein said Theresa May and Leo Varadkar had to engage as "matter of urgency" to inject the "step change" needed to secure an agreement.
