Singer Pete Doherty thanks NHS after piercing hand on hedgehog

Pete Doherty has thanked hospital "angels" after piercing his hand on a hedgehog.The singer, who is currently promoting his debut album with his new band, revealed the news on Twitter, posting two pictures from his hospital bed in Manchester on Monday.Saying he had suffered an "infected hedgehog spike wound" he went on to say: "Thank you to the wonderful men and women who work within the NHS.
