Severe Rainfall May Last Till Wednesday

Floods and dangerous driving conditions are expected today across southern Scotland, northern England and north Wales. Lancashire, Cumbria, west Yorkshire and north Wales are most at risk from disruption. That's not as intense as the rainfall event which brought the severe impacts earlier in the month (341mm fell at Honister Pass on 5 December).
