Serial mugger who preyed on elderly jailed for 6 years

A SERIAL mugger with a history of attacking pensioners for their handbags has been jailed for six years for a violent attack on an elderly couple. Emmett Downes, 39, followed Brian and Ruby Pawley on his bicycle as they walked arm-in-arm in Westbourne, Bournemouth.
