Sadiq Khan: Labour Must 'Speak To Everyone'

Labour's new London Mayor Sadiq Khan has called for his party to become "a big tent" and widen its appeal, as it looks ahead to the next general election. Mr Khan said Labour could no longer rely on its "core vote" to win polls, as he prepared to meet party leader Jeremy Corbyn. After beating Conservative Zac Goldsmith to the top job at City Hall, Mr Khan set out the lessons of his campaign, including the need to broaden the party's appeal and to reach out to Tory voters.
