River Breaches Cumbria Village's Flood Defences

A river has breached flood defences in the village of Glenridding, Cumbria Police say. "We are also warning any motorists not to drive unless it is an absolute emergency as the flood water can cause a great risk to peoples safety," a statement from the force said.
