'Progress' In Fighting Huge Birmingham Fire

Around 70 firefighters are battling a large fire at a scrap metal recycling centre in Birmingham for a second day. West Midlands Fire Service said that despite challenging conditions, crews made "good progress" in dealing with it overnight. Around 4,000 homes in the area were warned their power supply could be cut overnight as a pylon was isolated for safety reasons at the request of the fire service.
