Pothole repair backlog in England and Wales will take 14 years
It will take 14 years and £12bn to fix the millions of potholes on the roads of England and Wales, councils have warned. New figures published by the Local Government Association (LGA) reveal the time it will take to clear the backlog has increased three years from 10.9 years in 2006.
