PM blasts Red Cross as 'irresponsible' on NHS

The Prime Minister took aim at the Red Cross today as she attempted to play down the crisis facing the NHS as a "small number of incidents". The Prime Minister blasted the charity as "irresponsible" for saying that the NHS was facing a "humanitarian crisis" and she called the description "overblown". In angry exchanges during Prime Minister's Questions, Jeremy Corbyn accused Mrs May of being "in denial" over the extent of the challenge facing the health service.
