Pilot dies as helicopter crashes into field in North Yorkshire

A pilot has died after a helicopter crashed into a field near Aldborough, North Yorkshire.Fire fighters from Boroughbridge, Knaresborough, Harrogate and Ripon were sent to the scene shortly before 1.30pm.It said fire fighters used "hose reels to dampen down the scene" before crews left about three hours later.
