Pensions U-Turn 'Motivated By EU Vote Fears'

George Osborne has been accused of ditching radical pensions reform because of fears of antagonising voters ahead of the EU referendum. The reasons for the latest climbdown, MPs claim, are a Tory backlash, top-level jitters over the EU poll in June and Mr Osborne's own leadership ambitions. Campaigning in Croydon for Britain to leave the EU, the Eurosceptic Tory MP Peter Bone told Sky News:  "The referendum clearly will clearly have a bearing on day to day politics.
