PC 'Should Have Been Warned' Over Moat Threat

It was a "no brainer" that David Rathband should have been warned about Raoul Moat's threats before the gunman shot him in the face, a court has heard. The family of PC Rathband, the Northumbria police officer shot by Moat in July 2010, have started legal action in the High Court. Minutes before he opened fire, Moat dialled 999 to say he was hunting police.
