Northern Ireland leaders warned 'the clock is ticking'
Leaders in Northern Ireland have been urged to "resolve differences" because the "clock is ticking" towards a damaging election. Northern Ireland Secretary James Brokenshire said the situation following the resignation of Deputy First Leader Martin McGuinness was "grave". Mr McGuinness announced he was quitting over a botched energy deal on Monday, signalling the collapse of the 10-year power-sharing government.
