'No Appetite' For UK Ground Troops In Libya

Britain has no plans to send combat troops to Libya, the Foreign Secretary has said. Philip Hammond made the comments to the House of Commons following media speculation that British special forces were already operating in the country. "I am clear that there is no appetite in Libya for foreign combat troops on the ground," said Mr Hammond, who has just returned from a visit to the country.
